An altar server assists the priest at weekend Masses, seasonal celebrations such as the Easter Vigil, Christmas, Confirmation and First Communion, and occasionally serve at funerals and weddings, if requested. 

Participating in this ministry is considered a great privilege. Those who have received the Sacrament of First Communion can sign up. Youth in grades 3-12 are strongly encouraged to participate in this ministry! 

Training for new and current altar servers is regularly held in the Main Church.  Parents of servers are asked to attend the training as well. Participants are asked to state their preferred Mass time.
